History

Eurasia Cinemas B.V. was established at the end of 2007 to consolidate Alfa A1 Groups' cinema investments.

The Company’s primary focus was Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.

At December 2007, Kronverk Russia has been acquired by the company. Kronverk Russia is one of the top three cinema chain in Russia and leader of film exhibition in St. Petersburg. Russia is among the fastest growing markets in terms of box office and attendance, and demonstrates positive outlook for more strategic investments.

At February 2008, A1 acquired AFM Cinemas which is the leading cinema chain in Turkey. AFM is the only entertainment company listed in Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB).

At March 2009, Kronverk Ukraine established its first location.
